Recent Elf haul

Hiya you gorgeous ladies, I hope you are all well?
I have to let you in on a secret that I have have but please don't let it go any further: I LOVE ELF make up. It is absolutely fantastic. As like other brands, they do have some hit and misses but for the price, you can overlook that and not mind so much if you do get something that isn't going to be OK for you for whatever reason.
There are 2 reasons for this post: 1) the fact that Elf have a 50% off at the minute, and yes, that includes the current sale. It has a £30 spend but once you put in the code, it takes it down to £15 and that qualifies your order for the free delivery that Elf are running for the whole of February. The 50% ends on Monday so be quick if you see something that you like. They are spoiling us with the amount of offers they have been doing recently, so get on over and see what catches your eye. link is here.
2) The haul I have just  recently received after taking advantage of the 50% off and I only ordered on Thursday night and I received this morning. So what did I buy? Here you go:

So, that is what I bought from the 50% off, is there anything that caught your eye or has there been something you have on your wish list that you just have to get? I am tempted by another order but I must restrain myself lol.
That is it for this now ladies. Until the next time, don't do anything I wouldn't do.

A cheeky sales haul with a little help from London

 Hiya everyone,
I hope you are all OK with this ridiculous weather we are having. My thoughts are going out to everyone who is suffering with the floods, I genuinely cant imagine what you must be going through or feeling. I hope that help comes to you soon.
After such a serious chat I am going onto a very self indulgent post for you: a sort of haul. My local Boots and Superdrug are extremely tiny and we don't have a great selection of beauty products and the sale section is virtually non existent. However, 1 of the gorgeous ladies in the SBJ group, Nardine, offered to shop the sales in her local shops as she is in London. This is what she bought and the Urban Decay palette is from her own collection.

I paid £30 including postage for this gorgeous lot. How amazing is Nardine? We call her the queen of swaps as she always, always goes above and beyond what is expected from a swap. An absolutely amazing lady. Thank you again Nardine, you really did make my day xxx

Anyway, that is it for this post so I am off to get wet and pick up my little girl from school. Until the next time, don't do anything I wouldn't do.

Elf tinted lip balm in Cranberry.

Hiya everyone, I hope you are all well?
I've not been to good of late and I haven't really wanted to do my make up but I have as I look absolutely terrible without it. So, I have been wearing the bare minimum and oh my, have I been loving the Elf tinted lip balm in Cranberry. At first, I actually wasn't that keen to be honest as it was a little too thick I felt but I found myself putting it on continuously, day in and day out.

Onto the serious business of what I actually think of it, well, I love the scent but I feel it smells more like strawberries than cranberry but hey, that does not bother me in the slightest. The consistency is thick but I did get used to that as it feels so lovely and and creamy on the lips. It gives off enough colour to make the lips look interesting and not scary. I love this so much that I have bought another 1 in nude and if you want to try it for yourself you can form the Elf website here. That is it for this post ladies, so don't do anything I wouldn't do and have fun.

Bodyshop & Illamasqua Haul

Hello ladies,
I hope you are all well?
Isn't the weather absolutely fantastic? Hmmmm I don't know about you but I am seriously looking forward to Spring, just to remember what the sun looks like. Oh to be able to walk out of the door and not be cold and wet, how nice would that be?
Anyway, onto the real seriousness of beauty. My small Bodyshop and Illamasqua haul. Both shops were having a sale and I couldn't not buy from them could I?
OH my is everything beautiful.

Just how beautiful do these gorgeous items look? I nearly drooled when I saw the Illamasqua blusher, it is that beautiful. So, have you been taking advantage of the recent sales? What did you get? I would love to see.
Anyway, I think that is it for this post. Have fun and don't do anything I wouldn't do.

Skin care: day time part 1

Hello ladies, I hope you are all well?
I must say that I find it difficult finding the right skincare for me as I have extremely dry/sensitive skin and my eyes are even more sensitive. My eyes are that sensitive they can swell up so much that I have to go to the hospital and it is not nice I can tell you. Anyway, enough about yukky eyes and visits to the hospital, let me tell you about the skin care I am currently using for the morning routine:
I use ROC foaming cleansing mousse which really doesn't dry out my skin and isn't too bad on the sensitive side but can sting a little if my skin has dried out. 4/5
Bodyshop Aloe toner: (when I am not using this 1 I use either Boots on brand cucumber toner or the Bodyshop cucumber toner) I do like this, it is very gentle on my sensitive skin but hardy enough to remove any last traces of dirt. 4/5
Dr Nick Lowe eye gel:  I don't mind it as a hydrating eye cream but to say it prevents dark circles and helps reduce fine lines is a tad too far so I will only be giving this a 2/5 for the misleading quotes.
Bodyshop Vitamin e moisture cream: I do like this alot but only hydrates my skin for a short time but would be fantastic if you have normal skin 3/5
Bodyshop Vitamins c serum: I absolutely love this, it smooths my skin adds extra moisture and is a make up primer too. 5/5
Loccitane face mist:I use this 1 if i am not going to be wearing any make up to give my skin a little boost. Love it 5/5
Elf set & mist spray: I use this 1 when I am wearing make up, I'm not sure if it makes my make up last any longer but it is lovely as an extra moisture boost. Love this too. 5/5
Elf lip balm tint: I say to myself that i don't like this product and yet I find myself using this all of the time and currently placed another order with Elf and bought the nude 1 of this, so I get the feeling I actually like it. 4/5
So what skin care do you use and would you recommend it?
That is it for now ladies, until the next time. Have fun and don't do anything I wouldn't do.

Another Elf Haul

Hiya ladies, how are we all doing today? I must say that I am a little tired and cant wait to get into bed tonight. I haven't been sleeping too well lately but it might have something to do with my little girl waking up at 3am wanting drinks and hugs lol.
Anyway, I am sure  you don't want to hear about my woes, so onto what this post is about. Yet another Elf haul. EEK. They are driving me insane with all of the offers that they have been doing lately (Bad Elf) and then the new Beauty Crowd ustream show they do once a week and you can find them here

I do absolutely love Elf cosmetics but please don't let the budget price put you off, a lot of their cosmetics are pretty damn good and I will recommendalot of the products. They have an upto 70% off sale at the minute that ends February and another offer called the Mystery Colour Refresher Collection worth £15 but if you spend £15, you get the Refresher collection free and you can get that here. So, are you going to put in an order? What will you be buying?
That is it for now ladies and I will see you in the next post. Have fun and don't do anything I wouldn't do.

Skin care: night time edition part 2

Hello ladies, how are we all doing? It is blooming freezing here but at least the sun is out and boy have I missed that sun. I can feel the springtime coming up fast, I am looking forward to those days out in the Lake District calling my name hehehe.
Anyway, back to the post I am chatting about today, my nighttime skin care routine. As you will already know from part 1, I have extremely dry/sensitive skin with sensitive eyes which causes no end of problems with finding the right skincare. So here is what I am currently using with my thoughts, reviews and marks out of 5 for you.

Night time skincare:
Soap & Glory Peaches & clean: I really really hate the smell of this but love how it leaves my skin so soft after cleaning my face with it. I do have a back up that was sent to me in a swap I did last year but I am unsure whether I would buy this again or not, I hate the smell that much 3/5
Weleda night cream: OH MY GOD do I love this or what? LOVE LOVE LOVE 10/5
Athena facial wipes: these are for those lazy days and I think we all have those done we hehehe. I am not a fan of the scent but they are an ok face wipe and I would repurchase them. 3/5
Kleenex eye make up remover cloths: LOVE these, so soft, the scent isn't unbearable and have repurchased these a number of times 4/5
Elf lip balm tint: I say to myself that i don't like this product and yet I find myself using this all of the time and currently placed another order with Elf and bought the nude 1 of this, so I get the feeling I actually like it. 4/5
That is it for now ladies. Until the next time please dont do anything I wouldn't do and have fun.
